French Polynesia, a vast archipelago in the South Pacific Ocean, enjoys a tropical climate influenced by the southeast trade winds. It features two main seasons: a hot and humid season from November to April and a cooler, drier season from May to October.

The hot season is also the rainiest, with the risk of cyclones from December to April, though the Marquesas Islands are typically cyclone-free.

Temperatures remain consistently warm throughout the year, with the northern islands being slightly hotter and the southern islands cooler as you move further south.
Panorama II was launched in 2004 and fully renovated in 2012, offering the highest standard of accommodation and comfort safety. In 2015,the main lounge and bar area have been completely refitted followed by a redecoration.
