Our story
Celebrating 30 years of yachting expertise.
2026 marks our 31st year in operation. Seafarer was founded in 1995 by Managing Director Chris Lorenzo, who is still at the helm today. Thirty years means a wealth of experience in all things yachting — something we think you will notice from your initial enquiry right through to your holiday experience.
We are widely recognised as leading specialists in yachting holidays and small ship cruises. Our detailed knowledge of the cruise vessels, yachts and destinations we feature enables us to offer expert guidance tailored to help you choose the right holiday for you.
During office hours, you will always speak directly to a person — never through automated call handling.
What sets us apart
The Seafarer difference
Exclusive holidays & trusted partnerships
Many of the holidays we feature are exclusive to Seafarer, with a complete package including flights, airport transfers and pre- or post-cruise accommodation as standard. All the cruises we feature are with long-standing, trusted operators — and we serve as the UK general sales agent for some of the leading specialist cruise operators we feature, such as Variety Cruises.
Carefully curated itineraries
All our cruises are carefully selected for their superb and often unique itineraries. These cruises focus on truly discovering beautiful destinations in an unhurried way — with ample time to explore — while maintaining the friendly ambience and informality we believe are essential elements of a yacht cruise experience.
Commitment to personalised service
As an independent company, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised service to our loyal clientele. Our small team of knowledgeable consultants has firsthand experience with many of the cruise holidays we promote.
Tailor-made holidays
All our packages are designed to suit you. Our consultants can tailor-make your arrangements to your specific requirements — sail and stay, multi-centre itineraries, independent travel ashore, tours, car hire, special celebrations and much more.
