It’s Time To Re-Evaluate Greek Wine

The truth is, it’s actually long past time to re-evaluate Greek wines. Forget Greek taverna wine; we’re talking about the Premier Cru of Hellenic wines—cuvees that rarely leave Greece because Greek connoisseurs drink them all. These are bottles that, if you can find them, cost upwards of 30 or 40 euros in a wine shop.

A Tutored Tasting By A True Industry Great

Don’t take our word for it—the man behind this cruise, the palate that has meticulously selected the wineries, wines, and wine-pairings, is none other than Tim Clarke. A true guru of Hellenic viticulture, Tim, along with his wife Lynette Arblaster, has been championing Greek winemaking on both the mainland and the islands for over 30 years.

A Gastronomic Extravaganza

During this tutored cruise, Tim will cover Greek winemaking from its classical age roots to the present day. Expect visits to wine estates for tastings and lunches, insights into the differences between island and mainland soils, and discussions on the grape varieties that thrive in these regions. Learn about the evolution of wine production and what sets Greek wines apart.
