Cruising the Pacific

Lagoons, volcanoes and remarkable wildlife

The Pacific holds some of the most remote islands on earth, and a small ship is the best way to reach them: Panorama II carries a maximum of 49 guests through the lagoons of French Polynesia, and the Galápagos Legend sails between islands where wildlife shows little fear of people.

Every Pacific cruise we offer can be booked as a complete holiday, with return flights from the UK, transfers, the cruise and hotel nights in Tahiti or Quito.

Choose a week or more among the Society Islands, with time in Bora Bora, Moorea, Huahine, Raiatea and Taha’a, or a four-night Galápagos expedition with three nights in Quito, Ecuador’s capital high in the Andes.

The ships

A classic motor sailer and an expedition ship

Two ships suited to their waters: a 49-guest yacht for the lagoons of French Polynesia and a comfortable expedition vessel for the Galápagos.

  • Panorama II at anchor off Moorea, French Polynesia

    Panorama II

A classic two-masted motor sailer, 50 metres long, with 25 cabins and a maximum of 49 guests. Sails both of our French Polynesia itineraries.

  • A guest photographing a sea lion on the beach in the Galápagos Islands

    Galápagos Legend

A boutique expedition vessel with 54 ocean-view cabins, originally built in 2002 and extensively refurbished in 2017 and 2023.

Why the Pacific

What makes a Pacific cruise special

  • Lagoons and reefs

Swim and snorkel in the clear, warm lagoons of the Society Islands, among coral gardens and tropical fish.

  • Polynesian culture

Raiatea is regarded as the sacred heart of Polynesian culture, and Huahine keeps a slower, more traditional pace.

  • Unique wildlife

In the Galápagos you can see sea lions, marine and land iguanas and blue-footed boobies at remarkably close range.

  • Remote islands

Small ships reach quiet anchorages and islands that larger cruise ships pass by.
