December through May is considered the dry season, offering sunny days and pleasant weather, while June through November brings the more humid season. Rainstorms in the Caribbean are generally brief, allowing the sun to shine on most days.

Average air temperatures in coastal areas range from 22º to 30º C (72º to 86º F), while inland areas experience slightly cooler temperatures of 19º to 27º C (66º to 81º F). Rain forests and higher elevations naturally receive more rainfall and cooler conditions. Coastal water temperatures remain warm year-round, ranging between 20º and 23º C (68º and 74º F), making the Caribbean an ideal destination throughout the year.
