Sicily & the Amalfi Coast Cruise - Aboard Royal Clipper

Step aboard the Royal Clipper and embark on a one-of-a-kind sailing adventure along Italy’s stunning Amalfi Coast. Departing from Rome’s historic port of Civitavecchia, this voyage combines the thrill of traditional sailing with the luxury of full-board service, ensuring an unforgettable experience from start to finish. As you feel the wind fill the ship’s magnificent sails, you’ll understand the magic of life on the open sea—where every moment is filled with the excitement of discovery.

Cruising through the legendary Strait of Messina, you’ll sail past the mythical landmarks of Scylla and Charybdis, feeling the exhilaration of navigating narrow waters just as ancient mariners did. As the Royal Clipper glides gracefully along the coast, you’ll reach Taormina, with its sweeping views of Mount Etna—a sight that has inspired travelers for centuries. Syracuse, with its rich ruins and timeless charm, offers a window into Sicily’s past.

The adventure continues as you sail to the Aeolian Islands, where the sight of Stromboli’s smoldering volcano and Lipari’s bustling harbor captivate your senses. Glide into Ponza’s pastel harbor, and anchor off Palmarola’s emerald waters—ideal for a swim. With each stop, you’ll soak in the beauty and essence of authentic coastal Italy before returning to Civitavecchia, filled with memories of life under sail.
